Day 17 of The Ultimate Reset

I'm not feeling to wonderful this morning.  
I'm gonna skip breakfast.  I simply feel nauseated and icky!

Lunch was a salad with carrots.  I only grated up one carrot.  I like cooked carrots, not fond of raw carrots.

Day 16 of the Ultimate Reset

Raspberries and Blueberries for breakfast again.  Kinda cool!

Yes! I do like my salads, and I tend to repeat them when I really like them. :)

Curry Cauliflower is interesting.  Something new I guess.  I like cauliflower, just not real familiar with curry flavored foods.  Again, something new. 

I am feeling so much better inside.  The bloating is gone.  I have not had any serious bathroom days.  I thought I would have a moment where I needed to stick close to the bathroom, in the detox week (2), but not for me.  This Ultimate Reset is work the time and effort.

Day 15 of the Ultimate Reset

Today is the first day of the Week 3, RESTORE:

I'm done with the Detox.  Still have the green stuff.  That's ok :).

Breakfast was blackberries and raspberries.

Lunch was The Asian Cabbage Salad (YUMMY!), 1/2 Avocado and Miso Soup.

Dinner was a Baked Sweet Potato (OMG YUM!) and spinach.

The New Day 14

Fruit for breakfast, YAY!


Lunch is another salad with almonds and greek dressing.  Just like yesterday's salad.  Skipped soup.

Dinner was Edamame (YUM!!) and Corn succotash.  I chose to bake the kale, that is one  yummy snack.  Hard to limit how much you eat of roasted kale!  A healthy alternative to potato chips and addictive!!!!!

Day 15, now Day 13

Breakfast is spinach and mashed chick peas.  
I am not crazy about the Nori Gomasio, so I just leave it off.  

Lunch was a Good sized salad with sliced almonds.  Went with the greek dressing, romaine lettuce.

Dinner Squash and spinach.  

I'm a weird one.  I enjoy spinach, squash and chick peas.  My middle daughter likes chick peas too.  Youngest daughter likes spinach.

Back still hurting, so I'm not back on Tai Cheng yet.

Day 13 & 14

I'm sorry, I didn't make it thru the days on the plan. 
I was not feeling good at all, with a migraine and somehow I messed up my back.  I took a nap yesterday and woke up with this pinching in my left hip, toward the back.  It isn't my spinal cord and it's above my rear.  I don't know what this is.  I've had to stop the Tai Cheng temporarily.  It is NOT the Tai Cheng that caused this either.  As I said, I woke up from a nap yesterday and this pinching was there.  Hopefully it goes away soon.  I'm looking forward to getting back on plan.

Day 12

I had berries and melon for breakfast this morning.

Lunch was the Miso Soup again.  I couldn't find unsalted pumpkin seeds (and I love pumpkin seeds), so I went with sliced almonds.

Dinner was Collard greens and the beets.  Good thing I like beets.  :)

Day 11

I really am enjoying the fruit for breakfast.  I've always loved fruit.

I wish I could eat more avocado.  I did up it to 1/2 an avocado.  Lunch also included Quinoa-Lentil Salad, and Cucumber-Tomato Salad.  Not bad at all!  :)

Dinner was Miso soup again.  I find that I need to doctor that up with either red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.  I love my spicy food :).  I skipped the swiss chard.  Went for spinach instead.

I'm doing fine.
It's easier than I thot it would be.
I found a way to make the "Detox" packet taste better.
I add about 2 Tbsp lemon juice to it.
The green stuff, now tastes real good all of a sudden, lol.

Day 9 of UR & Day 2 of Tai Cheng

Ok, I got my first set of supplements in on time.  Today I will be able to get in all the supplements.

I'm not as tired this morning, as I was yesterday. 
Breakfast is mashed chick peas.  Good thing I like chick peas.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the sweet potato soup. 
I may go look into a different lunch and switch out, or do a shake.
Don't have a sweet potato to use. 

Haven't done Tai Cheng yet, but will soon.

Day 8 of the UR & Day 1 of Tai Cheng

I had a rough day today.  I didn't have an appetite and I missed some of the supplements.  I am still on track and focused.  I can do this!

I have my blue tape on the floor.  As expected, hubby exclaimed "What the h*ll is that?" and made a snort when I replied that it was for exercise.  This is why I do not tell him about my dreams, hopes and wishes anymore.  He is not very good at being supportive.

Day One of Tai Cheng, and I survived it.  Only got a 5/20 on my fitness test.  The only part I could do easily was the toe touches.  I was a little nauseated after I was done.  Not sure if it was the Detox (which reminds me of orange flavored metamucil) or the exercise.  Didn't last long, but let me say, I am not one who likes being nauseated at all.

Day 7 of the Ultimate Reset

Breakfast was the Tropical Strawberry Shakeology.
Lunch was the salad & seeds.  Not crazy about the soup.  Sorry.
Dinner I'm switching out; I never found the tempeh (or millet).
I'm going to do the salmon again, since this is last time I can have fish until I'm done.

I'm actually looking forward to next week and all the fruit.

Other than that, I'm doing well.

Day 5 of the Ultimate Reset

I'm feeling better today.  I have more energy.  Been spending a lot of time in the bathroom, so I assume that part of this has begun....if not, oh boy am I going to have an interesting 2nd week. :)

I switched out today's breakfast for yesterdays.  I had the yogurt with the fruit.  I skipped the sweetener.  Lunch is going to be the Lentil-Lime salad and Quinoa salad, a combination of yesterday's and today's lunches.  Getting ready to eat that as soon as I am done posting.

Dinner says the stir-fry veggies again, with brown rice and Nori Gomasio.  I'm not crazy about that Nori Gomasio...but oh well, I'll do what I have to.  I thought, really thought I would like it.

Day 4 of the Ultimate Reset

Day 4 of The Ultimate Reset.
Breakfast was yogurt with fresh fruit.  Yummy!!!!
Lunch was Nori Rolls & Lentil-Lime Salad.
Dinner is Stir-Fried Veggies, Cucumber & Tomato Salad & 3/4c quinoa, with 1 svg of Nori Gomasio.  I am curious about the Nori Gomasio.  I've made up the Cucumber & Tomato Salad and have it chilling in the fridge.  I also have already made the quinoa.  All I have to do is put it on the plate.
Today I seem to have a little more energy.  Not much tho.  Not to be gross or anything, but my bowel movements have been odd and green.  I suppose that's from the green drink, salads, and seaweed.  LOL.

I'm working on the water.  I just do not like the "taste" or lack of, of distilled water.  I miss my Aquafina.  Never had a problem drinking that down.

The green stuff (Alkaline) really doesn't bother me.  Not wonderful, but not gagging either.

I'll be back with an update on dinner.  Until then......stay strong.

Day 3 of The Ultimate Reset

Breakfast: Oatmeal, Blueberries & Yogurt
Lunch: Lentil-Lime Salad, Mictrogreen Salad, Pine Nuts
Dinner: Nori Rolls.  I couldn't find the Tempeh.
Sorry, I didn't make or eat the Japanese Cucumber Salad or Miso soup.

Today was a difficult day.  I was REALLY tired and sluggish all day.

Day 2 of The Ultimate Reset

7:00 a.m. - After drinking my water with my optimize, breakfast was good this morning.  I learned my lesson yesterday with the eggs.  I think I'm going to stick with the oatmeal & yogurt for breakfast this week.  The menu plan called for adding maple syrup with the plain yogurt, and blueberries for the oatmeal.  I switched it up and put the maple syrup with the oatmeal and the blueberries in the yogurt.  Regardless of which way you go, I got the breakfast down, without having any difficulties I had yesterday.
11:00 a.m. - Drinking my water with my optimize capsules added in.  I have a problem taking pills, so I open them up and add them to the water.  These particular capsules do not taste too awful, they kind of taste like a weak lemon.  I have a little while to wait until lunch.  Lunch will be a Greek Salad with 3 oz of turkey breast.  I'm going to enjoy the pine nuts I get to add to the salad.  I sure wish I could add more of them to it.  So far, no headache.  Additional note:  The salad was DELICIOUS!!!!

Day 1 of the Ultimate Reset


7:30 a.m. I woke up tired, as usual.  I've only had the optimize and water, so far this morning.  Not sure how I'm gonna get the eggs down, but I'm sure gonna try.  Me and eggs, do not agree.  If it doesn't work, I'll just double up on the oatmeal & blueberries breakfast.

So far, the headache that has plagued me the last two days, seems to have left.  Sure would be nice to not have to contend with it.  I'm not a coffee drinker so I do not anticipate any caffeine withdrawal problems.  The distilled water doesn't "taste" like Aquafina, so that's going down a little slower than usual.  I had no problem with the optimize, I opened the capsules and poured them into about 4 oz of water.  They didn't taste too bad.

So far, so good....

1:00 p.m.  I'm not going to be able to eat lunch.  It sounds great; it's miso soup and a microgreen salad loaded with veggies.  The problem is that I have problems eating eggs and I knew better than to even try to eat them for breakfast.  I won't make that mistake again.  I'll exchange one of the other breakfasts this week, when this one with eggs comes up.  I don't need another painful experience.

And so we continue....

10:00 p.m.  The headache is back.  :(  The salmon was good.
Tomorrow begins another day and we'll continue then.
